I’ve just began my 6 month mentor/ apprentice program with film connection and have to say that so far my impressions are very favorable. The course materials are extensive, and my mentor really knows what he is talking about. I have been interning for a film production house very close to where I live so travel has been minimal. The Program has been tailored to fit around my life which is very important to me. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the course progresses. If like me you are interested in a career in film, contact www.filmconnection.com

The movie industry is one of the most exciting in the world. The big studios, the stars are known worldwide. Although cinematographers are not world famous like directors such as Spielberg and Cameron they are still a crucial part of the film making process. This is what I want to be and thanks to film connection may well be my key into this business. My mentor is going through everything I will need to know in order to be a cinematographer of quality. There is a lot to take in but happily my mentor is giving me this information in small, bite size chunks, ensuring that I am able to absorb everything that I am told and shown. This course has to be one of the best ways to break into this industry, whatever part you want to play. If this sounds good to you why don’t you give www.filmconnection.com a call or email?

At the grand old age of 28 I have decided to change my life. I have worked retail since leaving college. It was a safe career back then. It was also soul destroying and tedious. However, since the economic downturn the job has been a lot less secure what with shop closures and the credit crunch affecting sales. So 4 months ago I decided to look into a career as a sound technician. I had always been interested in the sound part of movies. A colleague gave me film connections telephone number and I arranged an interview. Having liked what I saw I decided to enroll. Fortunately I can study in my free time so I keep my day job, for now. For 3 months I have been working my butt off, studying and practicing my craft with my mentor. This has been THE most important thing I have ever done and I have no regrets. I know it’s gonna be a lot more work, more reading up, more listening to my mentor, but in the end I know it will be worth it. If like me you are in a dead end job give www.filmconnection.com a call or email and you may well be living a different life sooner than you think.
