Danny Rampling - Manchester, New Hampshire

Danny Rampling
Manchester, New Hampshire

Thanks to film connection I have been working making commercials all over the East Coast for just over 5 years now. My Work takes me from my home in New Hampshire, down as far as the Florida Keys and as far north as Nova Scotia in Canada. The work is varied and at time challenging, but it’s great fun to be doing what you want to be doing. Before my course with film connection I was a sales person and I really hated it. Not because of the endless travelling but because I knew I could be doing something better. Thanks to the mentor / apprentice program I completed 5 years ago I am doing something I was destined to do. Thank you www.filmconnection.com for giving my life back to me.

I just wanted to say that if you are serious about getting into the film industry, give Film Connection a call. They will teach you all sides of the film making business in a curriculum that is tailor made to fit around your lifestyle. So if you work, they can fill the classes to fit into your spare time or at weekends and evenings. They can also arrange in house finance options that will cover not only your tuition fees but also most of your incidentals such as living and accommodation expenses. You’ve got nothing to lose by giving them a shout. They certainly worked for me. Thank you www.filmconnection.com.

Just about to commence my film connection program and I am so looking forward to begin. I am looking forward to some hands on training inside a real film set. I want to concentrate on the sound side of the business such as sound design and foley work. I’m eager to start working alongside my personal mentor and the production staff. I truly believe enrolling was one of the best things I ever did. Thank you www.filmconnection.com for giving me this opportunity.

Choosing to enroll with film connection has to be THE best decision I have made in my life. My one on one mentor taught me all aspects of working with film. Not just the obvious “this is how you hold a camera” stuff, but also such things as foley work, set design, location scouting, even how to negotiate with city officials. Everything needed to make myself more attractive to a prospective studio head or production manager. If you are really serious about working within this industry give these guys a shout, you won’t regret it, believe me.
Thank you www.filmconnection.com

Being a film camera operator is something I have wanted to do since school, but I never really believed I would ever get into this highly competitive industry. Thanks to all the training I received via my mentor I was skilled and confident enough to speak to film production companies about hiring me as a 2nd unit camera operator. 6 months ago it paid off and I am now working for a Montreal based company. I just wanted to say thank you www.filmconnection.com for pointing me in the right direction with regards to working in the film industry.
