I just wanted to say thank you to film connection for their consideration. I had originally signed up for one of their 6 month programs. I paid my initial deposit, however due to a family emergency I was unable to commence the course. I contacted them straight away, explaining my situation and less than 24 hours later my full deposit was paid back to me. I just wanted to say a quick thank you to film connection for all they have done for me. I enrolled into their program 3 years ago and thanks to their excellent tailor made curriculum and excellent mentor I was very quickly able to find lucrative work as a grip in Los Angeles. As I am originally from Orange County, the move was not too great and well worth it. For anyone seriously wishing to get started in the film making business do your research, renew your library membership and contact www.filmconnection.com. Or you can take you chance pounding the pavements looking for work.

I have been making documentaries in Hollywood for the past 5 years, thanks to film connection. I enrolled into their program and my mentor managed to turn me from an eager wannabe film maker into a prolific film maker with a respected reputation in the business. He not only taught me how to make movies, but also how to balance the books and communicate with clients and staff. Without all this help I would have been pretty useless in the job, a job that earns me a very respectful wage. So thank you again www.filmconnection.com for helping me.

Thank you film connection for helping me start in this fantastic industry. They immediately got me working as a foley artist on a couple of New York Television projects. The experience I gained was invaluable and this was only just the beginning. Within weeks I was doing solo projects for the sound department. This was truly a dream come true. I still have 6 weeks to go on my program and I hope to get a full time job locally in New York, my mentor is confident that I will get a suitable position. I just wanted to thanks to film connection for making it possible for me to play a part in an industry I have admired ever since I was a child. Being able to work on a real movie set had always been a big dream of mine, an thanks to them it is now a reality. I am concentrating on my chosen field, which I sound design, and thanks to my mentor I am learning all I will need to get me working. I am also meeting many of his business associates and colleagues. I am hopeful that I will find gainful employment at the end of my course.
