Thanks to the training I am receiving from Film Connection I should soon be working within the film business. I have always been fascinated by commercials so I was very happy when I was told that they could tailor a program that would concentrate on the commercial side of filmmaking. It not only deals with the actual filming, it also deals with promotion and marketing. This is perfect for me, as it will concentrate totally on what really drives me. My mentor is a really nice lady who has many years of experience making commercials on both a local and national level. Thank you film connection for making my dreams come true. Just to have the chance to be a part of this electrifying industry is every kids dream. It’s not all champagne and caviar though. There is a hell of a lot of work to be done before you will even be considered as a member of a film crew. Thank you to film connection for helping me to be what I want to be, a cinematographer. Thanks to the thorough training I received from my mentor I was physically and mentally prepared for the challenges involved. I just wanted to say thank you film connection for helping me so much. The program is very hands on, which is great for me as I was never really into classroom studies. My mentor has gone through just about everything connected with making movies. I have been working on several sets alongside real working professionals, picking up all sorts of tidbits of information. He has also given me an extensive list of books to read up on.
