The strange thing about Las Vegas, apart from the fact that it is a city built in the middle of a desert is the fact that despite the fact that as a state it lies next to California (the home of Hollywood) there is very little opportunity to go to film school within the city. The colleges are very poorly equipped and usually oversubscribed. Luckily I found film connections and am now learning the craft from within one of the best equipped studios in the city. The one on one mentoring program is the best way to study, working alongside a working professional. Film connection has saved me from having to relocate to Los Angeles.
