Paul D. - San Diego, California

I have just finished my 6-Month program with Film Connection and have to say that it was probably the wisest decision I have ever made. They had a mentor-apprentice program that was tailored for me. I was trained in all aspects of sound design (my chosen field) and worked alongside actual working professionals and not college professors. They have even arranged a number of interviews with various production houses in and around my hometown of San Diego. With the training I have received and my mentors recommendations I am sure to land a decent job very soon. Thanks once again www.filmconnection.com.

If you want to work in film and don’t mind starting at the bottom then you should contact Film Connection. They have a mentor-apprentice program that is tailored for each student’s individual needs. They will arrange a meeting with you to discuss what it is you hope to achieve in the course as well as giving the prospective student and his mentor a chance to get to know a little about each other. They will find out exactly what area you are most suited to. You are not committed to enroll and if you are not 100% happy you can just walk away. Only if you are totally happy will things progress. Why not give them an email at www.filmconnection.com and see if they can help you.

I really would like to give a big thanks to Film Connection for all that they have done for me over the last year. Not only did they thoroughly train me as a cinematographer, they also actively sought to get me working within this field. For the last 4 months I have been working at a small studio facility near Reno, Nevada thanks to recommendations from my mentor and FC. Once again thank you www.filmconnection.com.

People told me that I needed a degree from a fully accredited university if I was to be taken seriously in this business. Thanks to Film Connection, I have dispelled that myth. The training I received as part of their 6-month mentor/ apprentice program was more than enough to get my foot in the door. Combine this with a willingness to learn and lots of hard work and now I am working as a Foley artist for a major studio in Hollywood. They did not care about diplomas; they cared more for an enthusiasm to work and a eagerness to learn new technologies. Don’t let others put you off doing what you long to do, make up your own mind, you wont regret it. Thanks again www.filmconnection.com.

Thanks a lot Film Connection for helping me make the move into film, and in particular advertising. 10 years ago I completed my program with them and almost immediately I found rewarding and very lucrative work making commercials and infomercials. Thanks to them I also found the love of my life, Jules whilst I was training. She was the secretary at the place I was training at. It was pretty much love at first site. I do a fair bit of traveling as part of my job but Jules understands that I am doing something I was meant to do. The training I received was top of the line and I am so grateful for them for this. Thanks again www.filmconnection.com.
