If you want to work in film and don’t mind starting at the bottom then you should contact Film Connection. They have a mentor-apprentice program that is tailored for each student’s individual needs. They will arrange a meeting with you to discuss what it is you hope to achieve in the course as well as giving the prospective student and his mentor a chance to get to know a little about each other. They will find out exactly what area you are most suited to. You are not committed to enroll and if you are not 100% happy you can just walk away. Only if you are totally happy will things progress.
