I was privileged enough to complete my six-month mentor-apprentice program with Film Connection 6 years ago and it was THE best decision I have made…. ever. What I learned prepared me for work in movies. It also taught me such things as spotting and making minor repairs. It taught me two other crucial things: how to work on my own initiative and also how to work as part of a team. These two things are vital if you wish to make it in film.
