This is just a short note to say how much I enjoyed my time at film connection. The program was not only worthwhile but also extremely enjoyable. My mentor went through just about everything I would need to know about making films, in particular sound design. I have been working at a small sound effects recording house here in New York for just over 9 months now and enjoy it immensely. Thank you www.filmconnection.com.

I just wanted to say thank you to film connection for helping me break into the film business. And to all those people sitting on the fence about enrolling into film connection, go for it you won’t regret it believe me. One thing though, be prepared to get off your backside and work hard. This is not for those who don’t want to get their hands dirty. What you put in you get back plus much much more. Thank you www.filmconnection.com.

I’m almost at the end of my program with film connection and it has been a blast. From the moment I started I have been on various sets, learning from the experts and no I was not the coffee boy. I always take my trusty moleskin notepad and scribbled away valuable tidbits of information gleaned from the many crew members that are helping me. It is THE best thing that has ever happened to me, it has given me a sense of direction and purpose. Thank you www.filmconnection.com

I simply wanted to write and let people know just how pleased I am with my film connections program. My mentor Jake has been going through everything I need to know about film making. Although it has been very busy it has also been a great deal of fun, something that came as a bit of a surprise to me. He has me interning for a very reputable film company here in Houston, Texas and I have about 2 months left on my program. This has been a fantastic learning experience for me and I would recommend this to anyone wishing to break into film making.
Thank you www.filmconnection.com

I just wanted to say thank you to www.filmconnection.com for helping me get into the business. Your mentor program gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge by learning as I did. This is a great way to learn as I was never very good at school. My mentor went through everything I would need to know in order to become a valuable member of a film crew; he also showed me the many pitfalls to be wary of. Thank you Film Connection for your help.

have been on my film connection program for just over 4 months now. I’m based in Nevada, but I am doing my course near Los Angeles, California. My mentor is Tony and he really is a great guy. He has dissected the film industry for me so that I understand each and every aspect of it. The work is hard; I won’t lie about that, but also greatly rewarding. Making your own short movie (mine was about urban art) and watch it grow from an idea to the finished film is just so amazing. He has also been introducing me to the many people he knows within the film making industry, taking me on shoots. He has even recommended reading material of specific movies to watch, knowing these may help me. I have 2 more months to go and everything is going much better than I could ever have imagined. I’m so glad I never listened to all the naysayers on some of the forums I visited and made up my own mind. I would be kicking myself if I had not taken the chance. This is all I ask, do your own research. Study the pro’s and con’s for yourself, don’t listen to hearsay and groundless innuendo and accusations from the ill informed or merely bitter.
